it'll boggle you! i would suggest setting the formatting up so that you get to view either the Current Top Rated Modules or go the Hall of Fame. If none of these appeal to you, just head over to and see what they have. based on the first PnP module, which i never played before. smile.gifįor silly adult fun, i like Sex & the Single Adventuress. mod file, which goes in Neverwinter Nights\modules. For example, a simple module will just have one. Each file goes into the sub-folder that matches its extension. it had me on the edge of my chair, which made me very anxious to play anything else by the writer. If you have an earlier version than Enhanced Edition, use the nwn folder within your Neverwinter Nights installation instead. already mentioned above, elegia eternum is also an very very story driven module. it's called ee2, but it's to differentiate it from elegia eternum, which was the first in the series. it's a very deep story/plot line and is so immersive that i couldn't put it down the first time i played thru it. smile.gifĮxcrucio eternum is absolutely topnotch. you can get the first one thru your updater also. his Live Team is making Witches Wake 2 which (? hahahah too many witches/whiches here) will be available for download by the NWN updater sometime next year. I love Witches Wake by Rob Bartel (from bioware). I've also seen a number of 2-3 part stories (sadly a bunch of abandoned trilogies/longer stories never finished) that are pretty good not listing here as too many and really not that long.I'm waiting for the DragonLance Adventures to come out. I've heard the Shadowlords series is quite excellent, but time has prevented me from trying out. If you like the B series from the old days this is a great trip down memory lane very Gygaxian. A little rougher around the edges but an enormous undertaking, so it's all good. Hmm, by that comparison should probably include Thegeorge's "In Search of Adventure". Shout out to Udasu's "Lankhmar Nights" as a bunch of modules stitched together into a supermodule, making it pretty much a (single player) campaign. There's a few other classic pen&paper ports of series (Slavers series, Against the Giants, Descent into the Depths of the Earth, Demonweb) that might count as well. At least one player ended in the high 20s level-wise. We're still playing this one but so far, neat. The Lord of Terror, The Diablo Campaign - Technically one module but it seems to be the entirety of Diablo 1 plus Hellfire (the add-on) and perhaps more. U series (Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, Danger at Dunwater, The Final Enemy) - Pen & paper conversion, start at one and end about 7? Mines of Twin Summit - High level module, fairly combat heavy, awesome array of custom items, starts at level 13. Some of the ones I've played:Īielund Saga - Starts at level 1, lots of custom content & writing, lots of npcs & henchcritters. I can think of a few, although 'campaign' is a fairly loose term.
